The trains run around in fantastic landscapes of cars, ferries, tiny people and light signals that you can turn on and off yourself.
MAHNMAL ST. NIKOLAI
Also use the trip to have a good talk about war and why it is so wrong. In the crypt under the church Mahnmal St. Nikolai is a museum about World War II, also suitable for smaller children – there are only photos of ruins and no dead people. You can also take the elevator up to the church tower and enjoy the fantastic views of Hamburg.

HAMBURG SUBMARINE MUSEUM
In the U-Bootmuseum Hamburg you can dive below sea level in the 90 meter long, 8 meter wide and 14 meter high U-434, and see the claustrophobic conditions under which the crew lived. U-434 is located in Hamburg’s harbor canal Baakenhafen, close to HafenCity.
