HARRY POTTER SIGHTS IN LONDON
Are you looking for a guide to the Harry Potter sights in London? There are in fact many other Harry Potter sights in London than just Harry Potter Studios. The large interactive museum is of course a must for anyone who loves the magical universe around Harry Potter, but in London there are many other great Harry Potter attractions.
Whether you’re on team Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin, on your holiday to London you can get the chance to brew bubbling elixirs, sleep like Harry Potter in a four-poster bed and watch the many locations where the films were shot. Here’s a guide to help you plan your Harry Potter trip to London.

NB! With the exception of Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios, none of the attractions mentioned in the post are associated with Warner Bros. and JK Rowling – but Harry Potter fans will love it all anyway!
HARRY POTTER SIGHTS IN LONDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
HARRY POTTER WARNER BROS. STUDIOS
In Harry Potter Studios you step into the magical world of wizards and witches. Take a ride on the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾, take a walk down Diagon Alley, see the adventurous Great Hall and drink a butterbear in one of the many cozy cafés.
Harry Potter Studios is located in Watford, an hour’s drive north of London. If you don’t have a car, buses from King’s Cross St Pancras will take you right to the door. You can also take the train to Watford Junction and then hop on a shuttle bus that takes you directly to Harry Potter Studios.

GREAT HOTELS IN WATFORD NEAR HARRY POTTER STUDIOS
If you arrive at Luton Airport, it’s a waste of time to drive all the way down to London first if you’re going to Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studios. Watford is located between Luton and London. It takes about 25 minutes by car to get from the airport to Harry Potter Studios and there are also buses.
It may be a good idea to book an overnight stay or two near Harry Potter Studios, and then move on to London, where you can see all the other Harry Potter sights.

Mercure London Watford Hotel – 3-star indoor pool, 8 minutes walk to Harry Potter Studios

STAY WITH HARRY POTTER, RON AND HERMIONE IN LONDON
After visiting Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studios, you can continue your magical journey and move into a hotel in London, designed for small and large wizards and witches. If you love Harry Potter, stay at the Georgian House Hotel in themed rooms from the famous universe. To the untrained Muggler’s eye, the hotel looks like all the others in the area – but make no mistake! Hidden behind a bookshelf you will find The Wizard Chamber (4-6 people) and The Enchanted Chamber (1-2 people).
With music from the film, you will now be led into the magical castle corridors, where an enchanting adventure awaits you! All rooms on this floor are decorated like at Hogwarts, complete with stained glass windows, fireplace, tapestries, chests, copper kettles and a four-poster bed with velvet curtains as well as the dormitories in the magical castle. Even the small bathroom is completely perfect, with a sign above the toilet saying: “Ministry of Magic this way”.
FOLLOW IN HARRY POTTER’S FOOTSTEPS IN LONDON
In London, you can also join a real Muggler tour around to all the places in London where the scenes from Harry Potter were filmed. See the entrance to the Ministry of Magic, visit The Leaky Cauldron and the entrance to Diagon Alley and Goodwin’s Court, which gave inspiration to Knockturn Alley.
NB! The trip lasts 2 hours, and most of it takes place on foot. There is a single subway ride, so have your Oyster card ready.

PLATFORM 9¾ AT KING’S CROSS STATION
Harry Potter’s magical journey began on Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station. Once you’ve got your admission letter to Hogwarts, head to King’s Cross Station and get ready to leave. Family members can get one last picture of you as you push your trolley through the solid wall midway between platforms 9 and 10.
