At the top of the department store Salling you will find a small oasis in the city. BEST PIZZA IN AARHUS

If you are looking for authentic Italian pizza, then visit Piccolina. The beautifully decorated pizza restaurant is located in Skolegyde, right between the Cathedral and Aarhus Harbor. Start with the antipasti board, with ham, sausages and cheeses. But don’t eat too much! All the pizzas taste heavenly, but we recommend that you try the house specialty: pizza with fresh truffles and pancetta.

HOT CHOCOLATE AT RESTAURANT SKOVMØLLEN

After a visit to MOMU, Moesgaard Museum, take a walk through the forest and go down to Restaurant Skovmøllen. I the weekend the place is full of Aarhusians, who all come for the hot cocoa, the home-baked buns and the cream cakes. Skovmøllen also serves smørrebrød, open sandwiches, and a great weekend bruch.

FRESH FISH ON MEFISTO

Since 1995, Mefisto has been located in the Latin Quarter on the street, which bears the name Volden. At Mefisto, they are especially fond of fish! If you want to eat well but on a budget, visit OliNico in Mejlgade. Here at the gastro grill you’ll find classics such as Moules Frites, Merquez sausages or Fish’n chips (with the most delicious fish!).
